Nice hotel with excellent wi-fi, 24-hour reception, and in-room breakfast. The staff even helped me find my lost ring on my first stay. I'm coming back for Christmas!

The breakfast itself is classic and excellent and the food is fresh. Quiet atmosphere, though some people working here are a little rude.

Excellent and absolutely perfect location, new-fashioned guest room with a very well stocked mini bar, a fantastic view, as for instance. Located minute walk from a boat dock, in the very pleasant area;))

Great gondola service just outside the hotel.
Upon arriving, I was devastated to learn the hotel could not accommodate us due to a 'water problem'. The front desk offered an alternative that was completely unacceptable, essentially a low-quality apartment.

Airy, soundproof units provided with high ceiling, tea/coffee plus a great view on the roofs.

The location of the hotel is super, it is impossible to imagine better, everywhere you can walk in a few minutes. The hotel itself is very nice, the room was super clean, every day there is changing the bed linen. The staff was friendly and ready to help. After check-out, it's possible to leave your luggage at reception and walk until you leave. Next to the hotel there is a grocery store, you can always buy something quickly. it's convenient
I liked it, but keep in mind... 1. Breakfast is the same every day (bread, cheese, sausage, ham, yogurt, croissants, eggs, coffee/tea). 2. There is good hearing in the rooms. 3. In the morning the bells sometimes ring (but not too early). It was not a problem for me, so I recommend this hotel.

The pros, the cons, and everything between
The hotel boasts an excellent location just minutes from a major square, paired with comfortable rooms and excellent cleanliness. The staff was helpful.
Plus, the breakfast selection lacked variety and could be improved considerably.

First of all: the hotel is NOT the red corner house on the canal, which shows the hotel photo, but the house on the right. But don't worry: as is not uncommon in Venice, the exterior has come down slightly, but inside everything is great, as here too. Our junior suite was wonderfully spacious, practically two rooms, each with a fridge and desk. Comfortable and with style. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Great location, 3 minutes on foot to St. Mark's Square and 10 to the vaporetto landing stages, right next door to the gondola landing stage, and you're right in the middle of Venice flair! Tasty breakfast in the small breakfast room with (partly) great views over the roofs. Elevator (but be careful, a few steps in the entrance area without ramp)
You have to walk from the jetties on St. Mark's Square to the hotel, since none of the boats go into the small canals (but this basically applies to Venice, unless you are staying at the Grand Canal). Our room went into the small courtyard - relatively quiet but not a nice view. For breakfast I would have wished for really good, not just so small, hard white rolls (alternatively croissants or packaged whole grain bread), and scrambled eggs. Beware of the restaurant San Zulian diagonally opposite, rip off / expensive baby portions (but they have nothing to do with the hotel, the hotel is very fair)

Can recommend for a short-term stay
Charming hotel, friendly staff, with a spacious room with a tv and air conditioning, made my solo travel quite comfortable, ideally located just 6 minutes from St Mark's Square and offering 24-hour reception for added convenience.
Couldn't fault.

This neat little botique hotel is very near St Marks Square. Staff was polite and helpful. Rooms were clean and comfortable , great location for first time visitors to Venice. I stayed in a triple and the design was perfect for couple and a third person. Breakfast was very good. Would definitely stay here again. Also little grocery store near by for snacks to help with the high cost of restaurant food in Venice

I liked everything about this place. Magdalena is wonderful and does a terrific job of running and managing the hotel. She is beautiful and extremely helpful and a great cook. She produced the only hotel hot breakfast we had in our 10 day trip to Rome, Florence, Venice and Paris. It is a grand old building (1000 years old, still houses an order of monks) with stone stairs, marble floors, very high ceilings, large windows. We loved how renaissance and castle-like it felt. I can see how some people would be less than enthusiastic about the way the shower is configured so that the stream of water hits the top of the toilet seat, but that did not bother us at all.
The only issue for us is that we were traveling with my elderly mother and there was no elevator. This was purely my mistake, as I must have been so bleary-eyed from all the research that I overlooked this aspect. Again, I loved the stone steps; it is difficult for an older person, though.
